Hug It Forward Mobile
Through the micro-volunteering website sparked.com I found Hug it forward, a non for profit organization which “turns Free Hugs into Bottle Schools”. The organization was looking for someone to create a mobile version of their website or more specifically a mobile stylesheet that would optimize the hugitforward.com website for mobile devices.
At the time I volunteered for this project I was experimenting with phonegap.com a HTML, CSS, and Javascript way of building iPhone and android applications so my head was geared in the mobile space. Some of the technical challenges I had faced where mobile browser emulation, layering and manipulating existing HTML with CSS, mobile stylesheet declarations, and mobile user-interface design.
