A small tool I made for the personal web
I wanted an easier way to publish one-off pages without turning every idea into a whole website.
01 / The idea
“I miss when websites felt handmade.”
I started building websites when a little HTML, CSS, and JavaScript was enough to make a place for an idea. It felt less like managing a presence and more like making something.

02 / The unit
I wanted to manage a page,
not a whole site.

In Skywriter, a path owns its content, styles, scripts, data, and settings. I can make one strange little page without first deciding what the rest of the website has to become.
03 / Two ways to work
Sometimes I want a browser.
Sometimes I want my editor.
Quick changesI edit, preview, save drafts, and upload files online.
↔Deeper workI pull the page down, use my own tools, then push it back.
